• Great book. It is very well put-together, has great examples, and really explained things so that anyone could understand them. I had taken a similar class to the one this years ago, with a different text, and watched people around me suffer. With this text, it seemed that the majority of my class had an easy time grasping the concepts we needed to get down for our nursing careers.
• My professor uses the information right out of the book but My teacher has noticed some errors on the practice questions. It's a publishing error. Other than those minor errors the book gives a lot of information on how to do problems and other need to know information.
• This book is very self-explanatory. I only have a couple of small issues with it. First of all, it is not consistent. There are many mistakes in the book answers as well as inconsistencies in rounding. Although the teaching is great, it needs a good editor!
• I needed more formulaic math problems to practice, this is very specific for beginning RN I believe. I am in a Psych Tech program, and the math I need to learn is toward an LVN, for this semester. This book had some pages I could use, but a better preview (middle and end) would have helped.
• Very helpful. The item was delivered and was just like it was described.
• Much better than the other dosage calc book I was assigned.
• Great book for learning dimensional analysis when figuring dosage calculations.
